Lead Electrical Engineer

Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer ready to lead a dynamic team and make a global impact?
We're looking for a Lead Electrical Engineer to head our clients South African Electrical Engineering team.
What you'll do: · Lead and manage the South African Electrical Engineering team, overseeing performance, career growth, and project delivery.
· Provide technical leadership and support on projects, ensuring high-quality electrical work packages from design to delivery.
· Contribute to business growth by providing input on bids and proposals, and supporting the Director Advisory Group on strategic initiatives.
· Oversee the full project lifecycle, including scope definition, design, documentation, calculations, and technical specifications.
· Collaborate across borders with our global teams, participating in factory acceptance tests and site commissioning activities.
· Foster strong client and vendor relationships, ensuring effective communication and continuous technical development.
What you'll bring: · A Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
· Professional registration with ECSA as a PrEng or PrTech.
· Extensive experience in electrical design and/or installation within a consulting engineering environment, particularly with data centre and industrial building design, construction oversight, and commissioning.
· Strong knowledge of design and construction industry standards.
· An entrepreneurial, proactive, and results-oriented approach with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
