Project Management: Lead and manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and reports. Site Supervision: Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards. Client Liaison: Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and other project team members. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs and projects comply with relevant local and national regulations. Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff. Qualifications: Education: BSc/BEng degree in Civil Engineering. Professional Registration: Registered as a Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng.) with ECSA. Experience: Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in structural engineering consulting, with a focus on design, project management, and contract administration. Software Proficiency: Proficiency in engineering software such as Prokon, AutoCAD, and MS Office. Experience with civil design software is advantageous. Skills and Competencies: Technical Expertise: Strong technical knowledge in Civil & Structural engineering principles and practices. Project Management: Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly. Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and solve engineering problems effectively. Team Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage a team of engineers and technical staff.
