Laborer

The primary purpose of this position is to assist with grounds maintenance. The duties and responsibilities are as follows:
20% General Overall Campus Grounds Upkeep, Cleanup and tidiness
55% Grounds Maintenance
10% Bed Maintenance
5% Spraying
5% Skills in use of Machinery, Tools and Equipment
5% Paperwork
This position is a mandatory position as defined in the Adverse Weather and Emergency Event Policy.
Minimum QualificationsSome knowledge of cleaning procedures, ability to follow instructions and to perform medium to heavy physical work; an equivalent combination of training and experience. Special certification may be required for some of these positions. Examples of competencies are typical of the majority of positions, but may not be applicable to all functions.
Additional Required Certifications, Licensures, and CertificatesNC Pesticide Applicators License or ability to acquire within six months
