Lab Supervisor

Supports the safe and effective execution of testing and reporting of product quality in accordance with standard operating procedures and relevant regulations.
Oversees, monitors, and manages the preparation and analysis of Manganese Ore samples using the Laboratory Information Management System.Responsibilities include:Ensuring quality assurance and quality control systems are in place.Performing first-line maintenance of laboratory equipment.Ensuring the efficiency and availability of equipment.Conducting inspections, recording findings, and escalating issues as necessary.Maintaining procedures and documentation.Training and developing laboratory staff.Ensuring safety protocols are observed and followed in all laboratory activities.Providing advice on quality matters and development.Carrying out internal quality audits.Ensuring compliance with ISO standards in the laboratory.Qualifications:B.
Tech / National Diploma in Analytical Chemistry.B.
Tech in Laboratory Management or Certificate in Total Quality Management.Additional requirements:Minimum of 5 years' experience in a laboratory supervisor or similar role.Experience working with XRF/ED-XRF techniques is essential.Background in Manganese analysis is preferred.Experience managing ISO 17025 requirements.Good understanding of organizational goals and objectives.Excellent organizational and written communication skills.Strong leadership and management abilities.Ability to work effectively in a multicultural/multinational environment.
