Reference: JHB000214-JC-1 A market leader in Digital Solutions is looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to join their team to plan and manage key accounts to maximize revenue and profit opportunities, acting as the main point of contact for the organization’s clients. Responsibilities: Take ownership of a range of accounts, by advocating the client requirement, whilst keeping sight of the need to increase revenue and improve margins for the business Establish an account strategy with key stakeholders (focus of power, focus of receptivity, focus of dissatisfaction) in a specific account. Build enduring relationships and display an understanding of the client industry, business environment and strategy to identify current and future opportunities for the business. Drive client satisfaction throughout the entire lifecycle of the clients’ buying process, by taking ownership for the commercial agreement for each client. Realise revenue and margin targets and exploit opportunities, whilst displaying notable client service orientation. Assist clients to identify current needs (turning clients’ implied needs into explicit needs), and then effectively articulate how the business can add value through our services and solutions. Leverage their relationship skills and knowledge of the client environment to assist and influence the client at every stage of the buying cycle, and to position the business favourably compared to competitors. Key Skills Strong presentation and negotiation skills Highly articulate, enthusiastic and polished Are able to use probing questions, consulting skills and a conversational approach to explore and uncover the client’s needs. Are commercially minded and will use their understanding of the client’s business and their knowledge to personalize the recommended solution in line with the clients need. Are able to demonstrate capability (features, advantages and benefits) and offer unique perspectives and align insights to key client priorities Have the ability to have clients choose to do business with the company, by pre-empting stakeholder objections and pushing the client to a favourable outcome. Has the client’s agenda in mind and can relate offerings to enable the buyer to visualize their need satisfaction, goal achievement and problem resolution. Communication skills: ability to articulate and communicate compelling business logic Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines Attention to detail Flexible and mature approach and ability to work unsupervised Minimum requirements: 5 Years of Sales Development Experience Developing and conducting corporate presentation: 3 years (non-negotiable) Completing proposals and follow up on submissions: 3 years (Preferred) Building a client base and sales: 5 years (non-negotiable) IT / Financial Background advantageous Qualifications: Degree or equivalent Diploma in business/sales advantageous Matric Certificate Should you not receive a response from us within one week of your application, your application has unfortunately not been successful.
