Our client is looking for a Remote Support Engineer to join our team!
In this role, you will primarily provide remote support and maintenance services on desktops—and occasionally servers—across a variety of Wintel technologies.
You will also have the opportunity to visit client sites for ad-hoc consulting and SLA visits, so a valid driver's license and your own vehicle are essential.Key ResponsibilitiesRemote Support & Troubleshooting:Respond to and resolve incidents detected by our Network Operations Centre's monitoring tools, while supporting 1st line incidents and requests on Windows 10 and 11.Onsite Consulting:Conduct occasional onsite visits to client environments for troubleshooting, consulting, and planned SLA visits.Systems Maintenance & Upgrades:Assist with changes and minor projects such as version upgrades, patch management on endpoints and servers, and general system maintenance.Collaboration & Communication:Work closely with peers and communicate effectively with external stakeholders to ensure exceptional service delivery.After-Hours Coverage:Participate occasionally in after-hour support rotations under supervision or in a shadowing capacity.Essential Skills & Experience2+ years' IT Support experience in a similar role.Hands-on experience providing remote desktop support on Windows 10 and 11.Basic Windows Server (2012 R2, 2016, 2019, 2022) knowledge, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and File & Print.Proven patch management experience for both endpoints and servers.Fundamental understanding of IP addressing, subnetting, and routing.Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with confidence in face-to-face interactions.QualificationsA+ CertificationN+ CertificationMicrosoft Certification (e.g., MD-102: Endpoint Administrator, MS-900: 365 Fundamentals) - BeneficialExposure to or certification in Endpoint Security - BeneficialWhy Join Our Client?Be part of a dynamic, growing team where your input and expertise are valued.Engage with a variety of cutting-edge technologies and a diverse client base.Opportunity to further develop your skills with challenging projects and regular training.Clear Career progression pathways.Ready to Advance Your IT Career?If you have 2+ years' experience in IT support, a valid driver's license with your own vehicle, and are eager to expand your technical skill set, we want to hear from you.Apply now to become an essential part of our client's team!
