This is an urgent requirement.POSITION: Contract Role - Full-time onsite (possible renewal). COMMENCEMENT: 1 April 2024REQUIREMENTS:A bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Food Science or an equivalent technical degreeHas managed projects (ZAR of processing, utilities, civils and packaging equipment in the liquid food industryExperience in the Brewing or malting industry is preferredProven experience in solving technical project-related problems with pragmatic solutionsTrack record of effectively managing contractors in a continuous planning, organising and controlling cycle.Key Attributes and Competencies:2-3 years of Project Management Experience including 1-2 years of engineering experience preferredWork quickly and accurately under pressure.Communicate effectively to a wide range of stakeholders.Manage multiple projects in areas across the site by ensuring clear delegation of duties and effective communication processes and decision-making.Attributes:Process-orientated and assertive to ensure that complex projects are executed by well-proven and established practices and safety requirementsBias for action based on logical problem-solving and experience.THE ROLE:Execution of capital projects according to established project management practices, including but not limited to:Development of high-level scopes into detailed scopes to RFQ level of detailConfirm global technical standards are adhered to during scope development Develop project charters based on the detailed scopes for sign-off for executionParticipate as required in the technical supplier adjudications to assist with appropriate appointmentsTake the lead in managing the detailed integration design, to ensure that different work packages fit togetherEnsure that FATs, Hazops and quality assurance interventions are carried out and participate as requiredManagement of the Change process is implemented Develop and agree on a realistic project time plan that meets the business requirements Set up and manage a project risk registerEnsure that appropriate contractors are appointed and managed to carry out project executionEnsure established procurement processes are followed for scope changes, variation orders etc.Implement and follow approved project procedures, safety plans, milestone sign-offs and authorisation levelsManage project budgets and project cash flow forecastsManage Operational Readiness requirements so that Production staff have the training, and systems in place to operate the equipment per VPOLiaise with the staff to agree on and carry out scheduled tie-ins that minimise production stoppagesPrepare a handover pack to enable the successfully complete of the projects butt lists, PATs and as-built documentation. Provide management support to ensure that the finishing phase is properly completed
