Junior Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities: Manage the full lifecycle of mechanical engineering projects, from concept through to commissioning Oversee the design, specification, and procurement of mechanical equipment and systems Ensure all engineering activities are aligned with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards Coordinate with cross-functional teams including process, civil, and electrical engineers Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during installation and commissioning phases Prepare and review engineering documentation, including specifications, datasheets, and reports Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards throughout project execution Minimum Requirements: BEng/BSc in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) 5 years of relevant project engineering experience in mineral processing, mining, or heavy industrial environments Proven track record in managing mechanical projects from design to completion Strong knowledge of rotating and static equipment Familiarity with relevant engineering codes and standards Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Willingness to travel to project and plant sites as required
