Primary Purpose • Design and Oversee Processes: Develop and manage internal processes to ensure they are streamlined and effective.
• Assess and Improve Processes: Continuously evaluate and refine processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Implement Automation: Introduce and enforce automation solutions to reduce manual tasks and improve overall performance.
• Support Business and Project Work: Apply process improvements to both routine business activities and strategic projects to drive organizational success.

Minimum Requirements Qualifications Certifications: Relevant certifications can enhance qualifications, such as: ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library); Six Sigma (white belt or yellow); PMP (Project Management Professional); Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals or other relevant Microsoft certifications.Experience: Practical experience in IT process management, business process reengineering, or a related area is often required.
This can include internships, co-op programs, or previous job roles.Technical Training: Training in specific tools and technologies relevant to the role, such as SharePoint, Power Automate, and other process automation tools.Continuous Learning: Ongoing education through workshops, seminars, and courses to stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.Experience 2+ years' experienceCompetencies Technical Process Design and Optimization: Proficiency in designing and optimizing IT processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data sets, identify patterns, and make data-driven decisions.Project Management: Ability to manage projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring, to ensure timely and successful completion.IT Infrastructure Knowledge: Understanding of IT infrastructure components such as servers, networks, databases, and cloud services.Automation Tools: Experience with automation tools and technologies to streamline processes and reduce manual intervention.Software Development: Familiarity with software development methodologies and tools.Compliance and Security: Knowledge of regulatory compliance and IT security standards to ensure processes adhere to legal and security requirements.Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently, using logical and systematic approaches.Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Ideal Qualifications Relevant certifications can enhance qualifications, such as: ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library), Six Sigma (white belt or yellow), PMP (Project Management Professional).This position is advertised in line with our commitment to Employment Equity.
