Junior Financial Accountant

The Incumbent will be required to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions and reports. The Incumbent will also be required to perform duties to ensure compliance with Financial Administration, General Accepted Accounting Principles, Legislative Compliance, Company policies and procedures.

Receive and capture journals in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
Monthly reconciliation and administration of general ledger accounts for Central Finance
Monthly reconciliation of selected creditor accounts and debtor accounts
Rebilling of costs across legal entities
Maintenance and reconciliation of Municipal accounts
Assist with budgets and outlooks
Manage expenses in-line with budgets
Review Cashbook input on monthly basis
Attend to audit queries as and when required; an
Perform ad hoc duties as and when required within reasonable job scope.
Experience & Qualifications Required:
Relevant Accounting / Financial Degree
Sound knowledge of VAT rule
MS Office competency
Drivers Licence and own reliable transport
