Position title :JUNIOR FINANCE LEADPosition reports to :FINANCE MANAGERBusiness Unit :FACIILITIES MANAGEMENTMain purpose / objective of the position:The successful incumbent will support the finance manager with day to day finance related functions. The successful candidate will also assist and handle all finance related administrative functions from start to end with the support and guidance of the finance manager.Experience / Education / Skills:Diploma/Certificate in Finance Tasks:General duties:Processing of monthly Invoices.Allocate debtors paymentSubmit monthly statements and invoicesFollow up on outstanding debtor accountsReconciling client and supplier accounts.Following up on open items on the balance sheetFollowing up on outstanding supplier invoices.Ensuring expenses and revenue are captured in the same month.Client Billing/Invoicing:Ensure all the monthly billing is done and submitted to the clientAnalyze the various billing templates/schedules from FMSend statement (monthly) to debtorsPayment Allocations:Follow up on outstanding invoices (Not Paid)Provide weekly feedback to debtor's controllerClearing of debtors' accountsPurchase Order Management:Run Open purchase order report regularlyCheck for long outstanding purchase orders and ensure that FM close the jobs so invoicing can be doneIncome Accruals:Verify out of scope and process accrual.Expense Accruals:Verify and follow up on supplier invoices (expenses) and outstanding GRN.Behavioral attributes/ Skills/ Experience/ Education:Ability to cope under pressureEmotional intelligenceTime managementAccuracy of informationAttention to detailAbility to follow instructionPunctualityCommunication skillsAbility work in a team and independentlyFinance related qualifications (completed or in progress)Good financial acumen and basic accounting understandingWilling to learn1 – 3 years work experience would be advantageousReliable transport to and from Hyde Park
