Position: Junior EngineerLocation: Philippi, Western CapeDirect Report: Production ManagerRequirements:Grade 12 (Matric)Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field25 years engineering experience in a production/manufacturing environmentStrong understanding of technical drawings, fault-finding, and equipment testingKnowledge of health and safety regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)Proficient in relevant software and administrative processesEffective problem-solving and communication skillsAbility to work under pressure with a high level of attention to detailPassion for sustainable packaging solutions and environmental awarenessKey Responsibilities:Provide technical process support for start-ups and ongoing productionAnalyse production data to identify issues and implement improvementsSupport machine reliability and quality control effortsManage technical equipment and inventoryEnsure compliance with safety, quality, and food safety standards (FSSC)Train operational staff on equipment use and best practicesParticipate in the implementation of new systems and engineering toolsMaintain documentation of processes and changesPromote continuous improvement and support a safe working environmentHow to Apply:
