Junior Design Engineer – Durban

About the role:The Junior Engineer/Junior Designer is expected to deliver innovative structural projects and manufacturing details of projects under the supervision of a Senior. Key Performance Responsibilities:Responsible for engineering Integrity, and measurement and maximum focus on item/product delivery, with guidance. Critical Decision makingUnderstand the process flow of Production in order to mitigate incorrect decisionsUnderstand the holistic product development life cycle from Studio to Production to assist in the decision making processPlanning & Organising Ensure on time delivery for Engineering part of the product developmentEnsure time is managed well to mitigate any delays in Engineering part of the product development Technical Engineering Create 3D models and drawing packs for manufacturing purposes. Adhoc Any other reasonable request from management including particular projects as and when needed. Minimum experience/requirements & Skills:BSC Degree – Engineering or related.3D CADCreo advantageous Minimum qualifications: < 2 years industry specific as far as possible.
