Minimum requirements:Business Science (UCT) or BCom degree (finance-related preferred)Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in finance, banking, or credit analysisStrong analytical skills with a keen attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environmentKey Responsibilities:Assist Senior Deal Captains in the assessment of lending dealsGather and analyze relevant information to support credit decisionsPrepare deal documentation, including financial summaries and risk assessmentsCollaborate with internal teams to ensure all necessary deal information is capturedBuild a solid understanding of credit evaluation criteria and eventually take responsibility for assessing deals independentlyAssist in drafting credit proposals for presentation to senior managementStay updated on industry trends, particularly related to lending and financial analysisEnsuring all conditions are ticked and dealt with prior to pay awayOngoing management of deals post pay away
