Junior Accountant

My client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team.
This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional eager to gain hands-on experience and grow within a supportive environment.As a Junior Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day financial operations and ensuring accurate financial record-keeping.
You will work closely with senior team members and gain exposure to various aspects of the accounting function.This role is based in Malboro, Johannesburg North.Key Responsibilities:Reconcile bank accounts and other balance sheet accountsAssist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reportsPerform monthly supplier reconciliations and maintain supplier controlEnsure the accuracy and integrity of financial dataSupport the finance team with ad hoc accounting and administrative tasksMaintain accurate and up-to-date financial recordsAssist in the budgeting and forecasting processesRequirements:A Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldSolid understanding of accounting principles and financial reportingStrong organizational and time-management skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelAbility to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlinesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
