As we embark on this next exciting stage of our journey, we're harnessing our spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation to challenge the status quo.Working as part of a small team within Sales Operations, you'll be accountable for providing full assistance to commercial partners and the Sales Management team within the UK, South African and European market sectors, by delivering an exceptional customer-focussed service.
You'll work closely with your counterparts in our Global Sales Support teams, JV and other airlines to ensure a seamless service for our mutual customers.Day to day:Responding promptly to all account queries both internally and externally, by phone and email.Providing daily support to the UK, South African and European Corporate and Travel Agency customer base.Liaising with various internal departments, Sales Managers and the Leadership Team to ensure a first contact resolution.Applying experience and customer knowledge to achieve the best outcome for both the Corporate client, Travel Agency and VAA.Supporting the Sales team with varying administrational duties.
Managing a number of sales-related tasks simultaneously, for example co-ordinating familiarisation trips and events.Monitoring relevant communications, both internal and external, and implementing necessary actions.Attending and contributing to regular sales meetings and providing feedback to colleagues.Working closely with Sales Managers to gain understanding of the strategy and focus of their accounts to adapt approach accordingly.Establishing and developing relationships with varying levels of clientele.
Positively positioning the VAA Sales Team to promote accessible, efficient and experienced service at all times.About you:Do you have proven experience within the travel industry?

Then this could be the role for you!Alongside the above, we're looking for the following to be successful in your application:The ability to communicate both written and verbally with customers in a clear, concise manner in any situation.Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work well under pressure.A great team player who can collaborate and support.Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite programmes and has working knowledge of a GDS.An understanding of Virgin Atlantic products and services, with proven experience of dealing with a variety of situations simultaneously as well as having excellent time management skills.Experience of using a CRM (Salesforce) is an advantage but not essential.The right to live and work in South Africa.Does the above sound like you?
