Responsibilities / Outputs Interpret and analyze business requirements and produce solution and technical specification documents.
Consult with business analysis and architecture teams to ensure alignment to the business requirements and architecture guidelines.
Perform impact assessments for projects and initiatives.
Participate in Peer Reviews on code and documentation.
Participate in design sessions with the solutions architect and/or Enterprise architecture.
Perform development tasks in accordance with written technical specifications as per the project or agreed timelines.
Investigate, analyses, document and repair reported defects.
Create, document, and implement unit test plans, scripts, and test harnesses.
Create and maintain technical documentation using defined technical documentation templates.
Provide production support for a specific application or group of applications in the Enterprise Integration team. Activities include problem analysis, fixing, testing and promotion to the production environment, as well as Technical testing when required.
Support deployment and implementation process to the production environment.
Report status to the relevant manager - Identifying problems and bringing them to supervisor’s attention with sufficient lead time to avoid crisis.
Work effectively as part of a team and seeks to support the team’s goals.
Engage in formal and informal knowledge transfer.
Effective user interaction as and when required
Keeping up to date with the technology trends in the integration sector.
Second line support of production system and/or first line support during priority outages.
