The IT Technician / 1stLine Support falls under the IT Manager and will be responsible for all Internal IT within the Company (Head Office and branches), as well as 1stLine, 2ndLine support and on-site support for Managed Service Clients.
Assisting with server maintenance: All Microsoft Servers, All Firewalls
VM Management: Maintain the VMWare Servers
All Notebook and Desktop Maintenance: Hardware and Software
Assisting users with IT calls
LAN and WAN connectivity and installation of new network points.
Server Room maintenance.
Backups and power redundancy
Daily and Weekly reporting
Keeping the user list and Infrastructure list up to date.
Ensuring Antivirus protection throughout the company.
Technical AD Hoc
T&A login maintenance
General Office Maintenance
External IT (Managed Services)
Managing the Ubuntu Service Desk for 1stLine support on Servers, Desktops, Notebooks, Printers, Networks
Logging and maintaining calls for 1stLine, 2ndLine support.
On-Site Support for clients on the MSP services.
Adherence to SLA terms
Senior Certificate (essential);
MS Office Support;
Proof of technical skills and experience;
