It Support Technician Intern

· Resolve issues for staff via phone, in person, or electronically/remotely (onsite and offsite) · Setting up computers and laptops (New and old users) · Ensuring that anti-virus (Panda) updates are run regularly on all laptops and desktops · Application licence management (e.g Panda (Antivirus) Cibecs (Data Back-up) · Ensuring that cibecs updates/back-ups are run regularly on all laptops and desktops · User profile setup on active directory and Microsoft exchange · Repairing or replacing damaged hardware. · Configuring access to network resources, e.g internet, VPN, printers · Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot for computer hardware and software and making sure they function according to specifications. i.e Microsoft office, OS, Fortinet · resolve tickets logged on helpdesk. (Helpdesk support) · 3G card data management and allocation (Vodacom) · Liaising with external service providers/suppliers for support Minimum of 2 years experience in a maintenance and/or project environment in IT Analytical Abilities Problem Solving Interest in Helping Others Perseverance Project Management Creativity Communication
