Position Purpose Statement
This role will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer.
Critical role in ensuring Company databases support production and finance measurements and data analytics.
Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities
This position will be responsible, but not limited to the following:
Involve in the design, development and oversee implementation of the MES software and automation systems for the new factory.
Assist with continuous improvements to existing ERP Nutlogger systems for the old factory.
Monitor the efficiency of systems (old and new systems), troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software.
Improving system quality and accuracy by identifying issues and common patterns, and developing standard technical and operating procedures
Liaise with colleagues and users of the MES and ERP systems to gather and evaluate user feedback and suggest continuous improvements
Investigating and using of new technologies where relevant
Integrate software components and third-party programs where applicable
Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Language Requirements
Knowledge: including education, qualifications and training
Degree or diploma in Computer Science or related fields
Knowledge of coding languages
A minimum of 10 years relevant experience
Bilingual - English and Afrikaans
Salary - market related
