We are looking for a highly efficient candidate that would enjoy working in a fast paced working environment with multiple objectives and deadlines. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of retail processes and have a keen interest and passion for technical aspects relating to stores.
Key Responsibilities
Primary support / co-ordination for all stores as 2nd level support. This includes but is not limited to:
Supporting stores on software, hardware, network and mobile related queries;
Assistance with all software store applications;
Identification and analysis of root cause, to find permanent solutions;
Communication with field management within the business;
Draft and distribute communications to stores via Taskman;
Engage with 3 rd line support (Internal and External Vendors);
Monitor and escalate outstanding issues as per the agreed SLA timelines;
Follow up and communicate with all clients upon resolution and/or escalations;
After hours standby.Requirements
Matric and technical certification (diploma in information technology or certification in MCSE);
Retail store experience is advantageous for this position;
At least 2 to 3 years’ experience within a Call Centre / Service Desk / Helpdesk environment. Of which 1 year supporting retail store as consultant and/ or technical support;
Basic/Intermediate SQL;
Good understanding of the retail environment and the systems that support the business;
Knowledge sharing and documenting training material for stores and technical support;
Analytical skills;
Problem solving skills;
Customer service orientation;
Communication skills;
Technical understanding;
Tenacity;
Effective time management;
Ability to work independently;
Team player.
