It Project Manager

PROJECT MANAGERThe role requires an individual with IT Project Management experience particularly on software development projects using the agile methodology within a growing Financial Services company. EE Candidates only.Key ResponsibilitiesTo ensure that client objectives are met and that deliverables are delivered to time and cost targets and the appropriate quality standards.Developing the project execution planIdentifying and implement tools and systems to proactively maintain project governance in accordance with an agreed project execution plan.Monitoring and applying performance management techniquesRespond promptly and efficiently to the client’s needs, changes and requires within the context of the project.Managing the project change control process, including the implementation of change control procedures.Preparing formal project progress and other reports in order to provide timely and accurate project information and status updates to all stakeholders.Taking a leading role in interfacing with client’s and other team members, at all project stages.Agile specific responsibilities:Runs daily, weekly and monthly agile rituals efficiently and strictlyImplements structure changes and strategy that are generated by agile retrospectives.High velocity communicator –to those involved with the piece of workMinimum RequirementsProven experience as a Project Manager, preferably for at least 3 years, including being responsible for implementation of projects, facilitating projects and related workshops and effectively communicating with all project stakeholders.Proven experience facilitating a project across multiple divisions within an organisation.PMBOK or Prince2 experience advantageousAgile / Scrum/ Kanban experience preferableExtensive understanding of IT software products/ developmentSDLC and implementation experienceExperience in testing and QA environmentsExperience in the Financial Services IndustryMust be competent in workshop facilitation techniquesIT Qualification equivalent to a B.
