Datacentrix is looking for an IT Monitoring Manager who will be responsible for managing and guiding the monitoring team and assisting with 3rd-line technical support on Opmanager and Site 24. The role requires someone with knowledge and experience in Windows Server Support and Network Support and someone who can manage an environment that operates 24/7.Qualifications and Experience Required:MatricIT Degree / Diploma or relevant QualificationITIL FoundationMonitoring tool experience in Opmanager and Site 24CCNA, MCSE, ManageEngine ProductsExperience with Network Management and Infrastructure supportNetwork support LAN / WAN, WIFI Expertise5 years team management experienceResponsibilities:Ensure best practices per device are set across all clientsDependency mappings are done correctlyTaking ownership of the monitoring environmentWAN / LAN latency monitoringDaily tasks and routinesCertificate application on central server and probesAdvise on where improvements can be made and assist with thisBest-known procedures / call logging, escalationsGuidance and advice on APPMAN and Site 24 / 7Manage security solutions for all monitoring toolsEnsure monitoring standards are by Customer PolicyMaintain all Customers monitoring tools dailyAdminister and maintain monitoring rules and alertsManage all monitoring for network hardware and equipment, routers, switches, and other Network Devices, infrastructure, servers, applications, and websitesEnsure reliable network connectivity; the networks are monitoredMonitor all monitored devices and applications performancePerform capacity monitoring of all systems for customersReal-time monitoring and analysis of all alertsThreshold-based monitoring for capacity and performance monitoringMonitor hardware failures and backupsEnsure effective backups of configurations for monitored systemsCreate priority incidents, make follow-ups, and communicate the status to affected users
