It Manager Executive Level

Executive level, IT Manager position with an Internationally acclaimed manufacturing company in Cape Town. We are looking for a qualified and well experienced individual to step into this Senior Management role.
The successful incumbent will take responsibility for the complete IT portfolio of the company including
Support and monitor multiple software and hardware systems throughout the organization,
Analyse business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to determine and develop solutions for IT needs,
Identify, plan, design and implement appropriate technology and software to meet the evolving needs of the business,
Make technologyrelated recommendations and decisions for hardware and software acquisition and Ensure the alignment of technology, process and people to business objectives,
Manage all information systems policies and documentation including backup strategies, user training materials, network maps, and security policies,
Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels,
Implementing and managing security, disaster recovery plan and backup procedures,
Financial management of the department, including annual licenses,
Managing, guiding and mentoring of IT department personnel, and ensure a disciplined and effective workforce
Requirements
Minimum BTech Degree in IT, Computer Science, or relative
Minimum 6 years experience in IT operations
Minimum 3 years experience in Managing IT infrastructure and services
Proficient in wireless technology applications and interface, and IT security.
Programming experience
Proficient in MS Windows software, including Server, Office and Exchange, SQL databases and data warehouses
Sound understanding of business processes and IT operations.
