Qualifications / Experience:
IT Degree or Diploma
N+ Networking Diploma
A+ Hardware / Software certification
MCP and / or MCSE preferred
At least 5 years relevant IT practical experience
Technical / Other requirements
Manage IT systems support technician and make sure IT tickets are resolved timeously.
O365 Tenant Administration, with on prem Active Directory Sync.
O365 SharePoint experience.
SQL Server experience will be advantageous. Writing SQL queries, reporting etc.
Networking experience including configuring switches, VLANs and Wireless APs.
Syspro knowledge beneficial.
Desktop hardware and software support.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Server 2012 and upwards including AD, Group Policies, DHCP, DNS, WSUS etc.
Strong knowledge of Remote Desktop Server 2016.
Strong knowledge of VMware 6.7 and Microsoft Hyper-V.
Strong knowledge of Server Hardware and SANs (DAS).
Strong knowledge of IIS and web hosting.
Understanding of .NET applications advantageous.
Identify, evaluate and analyse manufacturing and business processes to create and implement efficient measurable solutions.
Own vehicle with current drivers license
Responsibilities:
Install, manage, maintain & administer hardware, software and networks for all manufacturing locations and local office systems, including applications, data centres, servers and storage, PCs, fixed and mobile telecoms.
Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
Plan, design, implement and manage projects
Troubleshooting of IT infrastructure.
Manage purchasing and maintenance functions of IT Department (Hardware, Software, Data, Communications, Services & Licensing).
Manage and control user access levels and IT security on ERP, In House solutions, domains and network.
Monitor software, coordinate installations, upgrades or enhancements and participates in evaluations of new products and system upgrades.
Maintenance of Microsoft SQL databases, system health check and event notification.
Set Service License Agreement (SLA) criteria for expected service delivery pertaining to connectively as well as fixed and mobile communications as well as printing solutions.
Hardware and software support, configuration and troubleshooting.
Implement and maintaining the Disaster Recovery Plan Procedures.
Train and support employees on software and company procedures.
Logging and managing supports calls
Manage system backups and disaster recovery plan
Manage Syspro administration and updates
Write reports and business intelligence analytical reporting data queries.
Ensure uninterrupted service delivery to ensure continuity of multiple environments.
