We currently have an opportunity for an IT Business Analyst to join our IT team. Reporting to the CIO, the core focus of this role is to manage a release of enhancements, support the prioritization of enhancements, manage virtual and local and virtual project teams, and maintaining a suite of requirements.
Strategic and operational requirements.
Requirement Overview:
An IT Business Analyst is responsible for delivering a package of enhancements allocated in each release. Each enhancement relates to an existing local, region or in-house system.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Accountable for the entire delivery of a package of enhancements in a release.
Accountable for ensuring the package of enhancements under management follow all the required global Daimler IT standards and processes (i.e. Houston)
Responsible for planning and analysis of enhancements.
Responsible for managing the signoff process of all IT deliverables
Responsible for supporting the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process performed by the Business.
Responsible for end to end management of all IT issues and dependencies on the package of enhancements (identification, mitigation, monitoring, resolution and escalation).
Responsible for all information security requirements which are mandated on each enhancement allocated.
Responsible for supporting the Gathering, Analysing, Documenting, Prioritising and Validating of BRDs to be considered for releases.
Responsible for the review of allocated BRDs to ensure the document is complete, accurate, relevant, timely and fit for purpose.
Accountable for the management of multiple external vendors of the release of enhancements
Responsible for tracking and managing multi-vendor delivery (time, cost and quality) against contractual documents (i.e. Cost Estimate, Contract, Statement of Work, Functional Specifications).
Accountable for maintaining a suite of requirements across the enhancements including: Business Requirements (from BRDs), System Requirements, Vendor Requirements.
Responsible for gathering, analysing, prioritising and documenting requirements.
Responsible for planning and executing workshops with the business and vendors.
Responsible for performing impact analysis on requirement changes
Manage local and virtual project teams and communicate at all levels of the organisation/manage a variety of stakeholders and subject matter experts.
Act as Business Consultant in business processes and end to end requirements/ delivery & support. Provide application support and create effectiveness across process and business divisions.
Engage with Regional Daimler Financial Services office to act as link between regional hub and local entity regarding alignment of regional standards.
Project Management and Self-development.
The ideal candidate will come from a Financial Services background or has worked in an IT Business Analyst capacity before, and is adept in strategic thinking. You must pay attention to detail and process data accurately. You will also have problem solving attributes and be well organised. This role will suit someone who stays calm whilst under pressure.
