Details of the offer

Job Purpose
Performing automated and manual tests to ensure the software created by developers is fit for purpose.
Some of the duties include analysis of software, and systems, mitigate risk and prevent software issues.
To provide support relating to ISA systems, ISA Implementation based on business requirements and new development.
Basic understanding of ISA methodologies and functional operating models.

Minimum Requirements
Minimum matric certificate
Up to 2 years’ experience in a similar role or Cash Centre experience.
Knowledge of ISA 7 would be preferable
Knowledge of cash Centre money counting equipment would be preferable

Key Responsibilities
Analysing users’ stories and/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility.
Collaborate closely with other team members and departments.
Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression).
Execute developed automation scripts when needed.
Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies.
Provide timely solutions based on operational requirements.
Apply quality engineering principals throughout the testing product lifecycle
Provide support and documentation
Reviewing software requirements and preparing test scenarios.
Executing tests on software usability.
Analysing test results on database impacts, errors or bugs, and usability.
Preparing reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out and reporting to the design team.
Interacting with clients to understand product requirements.
Participating in design reviews and providing input on requirements, product design, and potential problems.

Administration
Compile reports and daily feedback on testing results and blockers.
Assists with the compilation of procedural
Reports on system availability, trends and maintenance to the Project Manager.
Compile traceable system constraints based on the test life cycle.
