PURPOSE OF ROLE:
To support business strategy by creating and implementing communication strategies to change leadership and employee behaviour.

MAIN ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The responsibilities will be varied and include the following critical performance areas:
Provide strategic communication in the support areas of Finance, Risk and Credit and give assistance to all areas of the Internal Communication team within corporate affairs as needed
Ensure that all teams understand the strategy of the company overall as well as that of their segment
Drive the profile of the CEOs for each area for which you are responsible
Deliver exceptional service that exceeds customers’ expectations through proactive, innovative and appropriate solutions
Ensure that specific needs of stakeholders are addressed effectively and timeously, within area of specialisation
Builds and maintains a network of relationships with executives and management and other key stakeholders
Consistently represent the the organisation brand in all employee interactions
Interacts and builds relationships with stakeholders to identify changing customer needs
Build a culture of personal accountability and teamwork that is aligned to achieving service excellence by providing clear direction and frequent communication of work standards
Ensure high quality corporate communications are developed and delivered
Ensure that change communications are aligned to relevant business strategy and requirements
Prioritise projects and resources to ensure that deadlines are met
Deliver regular and timeous internal communications such as reminders, motivation, and information
Engage executive and management team to identify, analyse and prepare risk mitigation tactics
Ensure timeous and relevant communication
Conduct impact analyses and identify key stakeholders

Full-time position

REQUIREMENTS:
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Minimum Qualification: Undergraduate degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing
Minimum Experience: 5 - 8 years relevant experience
Preferred: Understanding of media landscape and digital design
