The role of Innovation Chef involves developing and producing concepts and recipes for new and improved products will taking into account cost reduction. The role would suit a very creative and talented individual, passionate about keeping abreast of trends that wants to incorporate what they see into meals and menus. Menu innovation
Development kitchen based role working from project briefs and generation of own concepts.
Work with the team to ensure the delivery and successful start-ups of new products, product improvement, ingredient, recipe specification, or process changes.
providing and ensure accurate collation of information towards ingredient, recipe and finished product look and costing
Liaising with clients in the creation of bespoke menus and continuous improvement of existing menus.
Work on food displays to adapt as per client event concepts while considering market trends.
sourcing, testing and specifying the use of, new ingredients to deliver new recipes.
Operations
Ability to build accurate recipes
Training of chef to deliver on the commitments made to our clients in terms of menus
Event costings processes maintained
Maybe required to work in other areas of the business
Stock
Conduct weekly/ month stock takes that you would be responsible for or as and when required
Analysis of recipes and menus when margins are not in line with budget
Maintaining awareness of industry trends, client requirements and the availability of novel ingredients
ESSENTIAL:

maust have a Culinary Diploma with min 4 years experience in kitchen where you have shown growth
