Ensure Companys positive reputation is maintained within the industry structures through positive constructive involvement (Association) while safeguarding Companys interests. Provide regular information/feedback to the leadership of Company with regards to Association matters. Understand and interpret industry legislation and decisions made within this framework to the broader Company management team. Participate in appropriate industry committees in order to influence outcomes that are beneficial to the company. Translate legislative requirement s into strategic and tactical plans. Understand strategic imperatives and drive associated projects to delivery. Ensure decisions taken within the Industry structures are supportive of Company and are not harmful to its continued operation. Communicate decisions from all committees. Act as the Company contact point on decisions made on how association should approach any trade negotiations. Co-ordinate, implement and manage the actions and decisions arising from Association Provide advice, information and technical support to Company on all relevant issues and all aspects related to Industry legislation, subordinate legislation and agreements reached within the various structures. Provide regular comprehensive reports to the Commercial Head on Association related issues. Assess amount of Product to be exported and participate in setting methodology for pricing. Participate in discussions on how the product cogeneration and fuel ethanol will be included in the current legislation. Play an oversight role on product terminals in South Africa. Determine overall size of the market and understand threats to consumption and agree on remedial steps on minimise impact. Drive the country, industry and company transformation agenda and associated projects. Promote and adhere to Companys procedures, policies and guidelines, including, without limitation, those relating to SHERQ,

Bachelors degree in Commerce, Law or Public administration. International Trade qualification will be an added advantage. 5 7 years experience in a regulator role, Stakeholder, government relations and negotiation experience also required.
