To ensure that all HR processing is current, accurate and according to legislation
To provide high quality and efficient HR services ensuring that all stakeholders, employees and external providers are satisfied
Ensure that all HR documentation is complaint with the Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Department of Labour, SARS requirements and Employment Equity
Assist in developing and implementing HR procedures and policies that are aligned to the various employee life cycle events and the business
Ensure that all employee records are maintained and up to date
All changes to payroll are accurately and timorously submitted to the Payroll Department
Manages the recruitment process of new employees in the group
Manages the induction process for all new employees in the group
In consultation with line management, identifies key talent in the business units and assists in preparing the individual development plans.
Provide guidance to line managers in dealing with difficult staff situations in the business unit including industrial relations related matters.
Oversees HR administration in the business unit and assists line managers to interpret HR policy.
Assist with the implementation of the HR Strategy in close co-operation with line managers and the Executive Management Team and Payroll Manager
Supports managers in new employee induction and terminations of departing employees
Exit interviews processed for terminating employees, including termination from providers
Liaise with agencies and identifies new job opportunities for candidates internal & external.
Engages in different people management projects in the group.
3-5 Years’ experience in HR Position within a professional office environment
Sound knowledge of BCEA legislation & Employment Equity and South African Employment Legislation
