These jobs were popular with other job seekersOur client, a well-known South African company in the financial services sector is on the search for a Human Resources Business Partner who is available immediately to join their team for a 6-month contract, who will be responsible for creating & enabling an environment to drive performance & employee engagement across the respective departments within the company. This will be achieved by partnering with management & business to define & implement relevant & appropriate plans to improve individual, team, & business effectiveness, to enhance the overall performance of the business through it's peopleDuties & Responsibilities Key Performance Areas:Employee RelationsAdvise and support line manager with regards to all ER queriesEnsure all ER procedures meet both procedural and substantive fairness principlesSupport line managers by drafting letters of concern, warnings, drawing up charges and on the outcomes of disciplinary enquiriesRespond to all appeals from employees related disciplinary enquiriesIf required, represent the Business at CCMA on relevant matters and ensure bundles and witnesses are prepared in time for the CCMA hearingMonitor all trends relating to employees (late-coming, absence, prior discipline etc.) and advise management on a course of action in line with Business policyRecruitment Conduct one on one exit interviewsCoordinate work experience for studentsDrive performance and career discussions within your departmentsCoach and support line managers on how to hold effective performance and career discussionsEducate and advise line managers on performance improvement meetingsOrganisational Effectiveness/ DevelopmentEncourage the recognition of employeesManage and coordinate all planned wellness initiativesSupport employees with any queries which relate to medical aid, retirement fund, payslips and or leave etc.Monitor all sick leave trends monthly Assist line managers with injury on duty (OID) claims HR GovernanceComply with Business policies and procedures and prevailing legislation that govern HR practices and principlesReview HR policies and process documentsAdhere to the procurement process when sourcing vendors for recruitment and planned HR eventsMaintain strict confidentiality at all levels and at all timeLearning & DevelopmentPartner with Learning and Development to identify and source appropriate learning interventionsAdministrationPrepare monthly HR reportsMaintain the integrity of employee files and employee dataPrepare various letters, arrange meetings, coordinate functions or events, order and control stationerySupport payroll by capturing/ loading any new employees on the HR systemHR ProjectsSupport the HR team and Business with new and innovate initiatives that support the Business and HR strategy Desired Experience & Qualification Requirements:Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent5 years' generalist HR experienceKnowledge & understanding of all South African labour legislationCCMA processes & procedures  HR Services, Recruitment & Selection These jobs were popular with other job seekers#J-18808-Ljbffr
