The role ensures compliance with statutory regulations, contractual obligations, and global best practices, while driving continuous improvement in HSEQ performance. Key Qualifications & Certifications Requirement Details Education Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Safety Management, or related field Professional Certification PR CHA (Professional Construction Health and Safety Agent) SACPCMP registered or Certified Safety Manager (CSM) Preferred Additional Certs ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001 Internal/Lead Auditor Software Competence MS Office Suite, HSE Management Systems, Incident Reporting Software, SharePoint Key Responsibilities Develop and implement HSEQ strategies, frameworks, and action plans across all EPCM project phases. Monitor and enforce compliance with safety, health, environmental, and quality legislation, standards, and policies. Act as the lead interface with contractors, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders on HSEQ matters. Lead root cause analyses and investigations for incidents, accidents, and non-conformances. Manage audit schedules and conduct internal and external audits (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001). Develop training materials and deliver toolbox talks, inductions, and awareness programs. Analyze HSEQ performance data, prepare reports, and provide insight-driven recommendations. Maintain documentation and certification compliance related to PR CHA or CSM designations. Drive risk management processes including hazard identification, risk assessments, and mitigation planning. Provide leadership and mentoring to the HSEQ team across multiple project sites.
