Our financial client in Sandton Gauteng is looking for an experienced HR Manager / HR Generalist with 5 years relevant financial HR experiencer. You will advise and assist/guide managers and staff to ensure sound people management practices and manage the implementation of Human Resources interventions. Registered Psychometrist
Qualifications / Experience:
Postgraduate Bcom degree or NQF equivalent with Industrial Psychology / Human Resources Management.
Registered Psychometrist (preferable)
Min 5 years' experience in a Human Resources consulting role as a HR Generalist
5 years at middle management level
Key Competencies (Skills, knowledge and personal attributes)
Thorough understanding and in-depth knowledge of Human Resources best practices
Assertiveness and influencing skills
Display technical expertise and pro-actively apply theory to evaluate current processes and recommend changes
Interviewing, presentation, counselling and facilitation skills
Intermediate to advanced levels of proficiency in Word and Excel
Ability to use well-developed and known analytical and diagnostic methods in addressing needs
Ability to translate Human Resources Strategy into functional plans for areas of responsibility
Excellent knowledge of all relevant labour legislation

General:
Provide salary benchmarks for all positions during the annual package review process

Managing relationships with internal stakeholders to promote sound people management practices
