ENVIRONMENT:

Serve as the Guardian and Champion of a people first culture of a dynamic global Data Specialist seeking your expertise to be their next HR Partner who will also support the business from areas including Employee Relations, to Engagement, to Performance Development. The ideal candidate required relevant experience in an HR leadership role, preferably in a tech environment, experience understanding organisational issues and effecting change, able to use data to identify insights that drive action and consulting, coaching and facilitation experience.
DUTIES:
HR Business Partnering –
Build strong and close partnerships with the business, coaching leaders of the business to support the delivery of the People Plan.
Reinforce the credibility of the HR function within the business.
Collaborate with the People Team to align on the People Plan and priorities.
Ensure actions from the People Plan are effectively implemented across the global divisions.
Responsible for the business partnering in South Africa and supporting the partnering in other divisions.
Build out People practices for the growing South Africa office in alignment with the global team.
Champion the new Future of Work and hybrid working model.
Ownership of driving conversation and change around the quarterly engagement.
Be the first point of call for day-to-day staff queries on topics such as benefits, systems, maternity, paternity, processes, and HR initiatives.
Provide insights and support for the specialist functions (recruitment, L & D and people operations).
Delivery of people initiatives (communicating, advising, embedding, encouraging HR solutions).
Prioritise the Employee experience, ensuring initiatives are in line with company culture and are delivered with positive impact for employees at front of mind.
HR Global Team –
Support L&D Director with training and development initiatives, in both aligning with the business on development needs and supporting in the rollout of any initiatives.
Assist with administering the engagement survey, including preparing reports/ presentation decks of the results for Managers and staff.
Support the performance review process, ensuring timely completion of reviews and objective setting, and working with the HR team to administer salary and bonus reviews/ benchmarking where appropriate.
Work with the People Operations Manager to create and improve global.
Support the HR team both in the US and internationally to ensure consistent level of HR service.
Operations & Local HR Processes –
Build out infrastructure for the South Africa office (letter templates, relationships with external advisors).
Oversee offers and onboarding for the local office.
Oversee payroll and benefit offering.
Management of the offboarding process including managing resignations, exit surveys and interviews.
REQUIREMENTS:
Commensurate experience in an HR leadership role, preferably in a tech environment
Experience understanding organisational issues and effecting change.
A proven collaborator, who enjoys working as part of a global team and jumping into issues as they come up.
Someone who drives continuous improvement.
Strong business acumen and ability to work well across different functions in order to integrate HR and business strategies.
Motivated by building and finding solutions.
Experience using data to identify insights that drive action.
Consulting, coaching and facilitation experience.
Listening skills and ability to relate to, and coach employees of all levels in the organisation.
