Description:

Out client in the clothing retail industry is looking to appoint a HR Administrator. The HR Administrator is responsible for providing a holistic HR administrative service and support to Stores, Operational Teams, and Regional HR Manager, ensuring that an effective and efficient service is rendered to all stakeholders in support of HR Strategies.

*Administration and Support*

* Respond to queries and manage the administration related to the various Company benefits.
* Responsible for all administrative duties relating to Human Resources.
* Organise and maintain electronic and paper files (keeping records updated at all times)
* Providing ongoing support and assistance to the Operations Manager (Op M) and respective business units/stores.
* Assist the Op M with the divisional implementation of projects and initiatives.
* Coordinate and communicate with all relevant stakeholders across the business.
* Implement new and existing HR Policies and Procedures.
* Ensure queries are responded to timeously and resolved
* Updating of relevant communication to the business units/stores.
* Maintain the collection, filing, and capturing of HR-related forms.
* Carry out reasonable ad hoc duties in or to support the HR department
*Payroll Administration*
* Manage monthly queries received and respond accordingly
* Ensure all new staff are issued with a contract before starting
* Update all information relating to promotions and demotions on the payroll
* Update and process any transfers of employees
* Monitor absenteeism and provide a report to OM
* Update leave records and provide reports to OM
* Issue employees with statutory documents such as UI19 forms
* Ensure all exit documentation is completed and assist various stores with employee exits
*HR Reporting*

* Compile and generate identified reports for the various business divisions as required by business needs starters, terminations, transfers, IR report, etc).
*Recruitment & Selection*

* Manage and coordinate the recruitment process once a vacancy has been identified.
* Review CVs and consolidate shortlist to be handed to Operations Manager.
* Coordinate the necessary credit checks.
* Conduct reference checks on short-listed candidates.
* Liaison with the applicants on feedback to application and regrets.
*Training and Development*

* Coordinate and facilitate delegates identified to attend various learning interventions.
* Identify service providers based on needs together with the OM
* Keep a detailed record of all training conducted and results.
* Assist with ART/WSP submission to SETA.
*Industrial Relations*

* Assist with internal disciplinary investigations and hearings.
* Keep minutes of hearings and other disciplinary actions.
* Assist with investigations of grievances.
* Assist in the collation of information and data in preparation for:
* Monthly IR Report
* CCMA Cases
* Case bundles

* Gather data relating to CCMA cases in support of investigations.
* Ensure all IR monthly data is captured on the payroll system (VIP)

Diploma / Degree in HR or Industrial Psychology
Experience in HR support services (2-3 years)
Strong administration skills
Strong People Skills
