Our client, an established wine & tourism destination based in the Winelands area, is seeking to appoint a dynamic & experienced Hospitality Manager to oversee all aspects of their Hospitality operations.
The ideal candidate has a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences & a proven track record of leadership in the hospitality industry.
The successful candidate will be required to deliver a world-class hospitality experience to guests whilst transferring the skills and knowledge to the team.
The purpose of this position is to manage the guest experience throughout the Estate & exceed their expectations whilst driving sales & motivating teams.
Duties will include:Overseeing day-to-day operations of all hospitality departmentsStaff management (incl.
recruitment, training, & supervising)Developing & implementing strategies to enhance guest satisfaction & exceed service standardsCollaborating with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiencesCompiling & monitoring annual budgetManaging hospitality budgetsOverseeing cost control measuresStaying updated on industry trendsOverseeing estate eventsRetail procurement – appointing relevant suppliers & selection of productsLiaising with media/VIP clients/guestsConstantly evaluating service & offerings for improvementsOverseeing orders for FOH stock (retail, water, packaging etc.
in accordance with budget)Ensuring stock control & reconciliation of storeroomsSetting monthly sales targets in conjunction with Sales & Marketing Manager & creating sales strategyPreparing & presenting monthly sales & operation reportsAll other tasks related to the position.Essential qualifications, skills and experience:Tertiary qualification in Hospitality/Project Management or similar;At least 7 years' experience in a similar managerial position in the Hospitality industry;Excellent cuisine & wine knowledge with a passion for food & wine;Strong computer skills (MS Office);Drivers license & own reliable transport;Good communication skills (Afrikaans & English);Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays as per industry requirements.Please apply online at before 09:00 on 7 June 2024.
