Have you been in Health and Safety and moved across to Quality Control or vice versa in your career. This is what we need.
THIS IS ONE ROLE WITH 2 SKILLS THAT ARE ESSENTIAL. QC AND HEALTH AND SAFETY OFFICER YOU MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN BOTH
You will ensure that the company is producing safe and quality products that conform to all regulatory requirements and the highest food safety standards. You will also address all HS issues
1.Someone to start as soon as possible
2.Preferably an EE candidate
3.Experience 35 years in the food industry
4.Good management and people skills
5.Must have own transport a valid drivers license
6. Must live within 25km of Landsdowne to be considered
7.Diploma in QC within FMCG

Maintain update legislation with regards to Quality Management Systems
Submit product samples for microbiological testing. Evaluate the results of these tests.
Initiate problem solutions with food production supervisors in response to qualityrelated issues.
Ensure all staff wear correct PPE and follow correct procedures.
Pest Control
Inspect premises for infestation
Assist in quarterly pest control audit
Perform corrective action for nonconformance observed by pest control services
Other
Update customer specification
Company product specification process specification
Perform corrective actions on all nonconformance observed that affects safety the quality of the product.
Perform internal audits report on results.
Coordinate traceability exercises, mock recalls GMP inspections
Maintain documents
HS Management
Develop implement HS policy and procedures.
Develop implement HS plan and programme for the workplace
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
Identify OHSrelated training needs in the workplace.
Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments.
Investigate and report on workplace accidents.
Supervise and meet on a regular basis with HE representatives in the workplace.
