Head Of Operations

About the Role:

As Head of Operations, you will work and report directly to the Childcare Chief Operating Officer and work in unity with the Head of Marketing, Head of Educational Excellence and Head of Commercial Growth to provide challenge and innovation to the Group’s strategy.
As a member of the Senior Management team, you will provide direction, guidance, leadership and expertise to the Group and the wider Society, being an ambassador for Society led initiatives and exploiting collaborative opportunities. You will demonstrate creativity, have imagination and enthusiasm underpinned by a commercial understanding and excellent communication skills.
On behalf of the Chief Operating Officer, you will be responsible for developing, leading and delivering the full operational strategy as defined by the Group’s business plan. As Head of Operations, you will be able to see the bigger picture and plan ahead whilst being hands on as needed to ensure our operations run smoothly by overseeing daily activities across all functions.
You will play a pivotal role in a rapidly expanding childcare group, leading the Operational team to ensure performance standards are met consistently whilst having a major impact on performance improvement, productivity, efficiency, controls and profitability.
About You:

Degree or equivalent level of experience in a Head of Operations roleMinimum 2-3 years at senior operational levelYou will be an experienced leader and have a proven track record of successfully leading a teamA self-starter with a high energy approach and a desire to work in a fast-paced, change environment, you will be hands on and a natural problem-solverProven ability to develop and deliver an operational strategy Experience in the early years sector is desirable but not essentialProven ability, to budget, manage expenditure within budgetary limitsGood IT skills – Word, Excel and Power point. Experience of using technology and data to support performance improvementBe able to travel nationallyCurrent drivers license
