Role Objectives: Reporting directly to Hollard CFO.
The Group Head of Finance is responsible for the co-creation and implementation of the organisations strategic financial management and reporting, business analysis, budgeting, controls and forecasting.
To ensure ongoing viability and secure financial future in line with the organisation's business objective.
Key Responsibilities: Provide strategic financial support and guidance to the organisation and Group CFOEnsure financial standards and controls are designed, implemented and managed within the organisation based on overall company guidelinesAccounting policy development, staying abreast of standards, and ensure appropriate implementationEnsure standardisation and implementation of group finance processAnalyse, report and review on organisational profitability, trends and balance sheetPrepare and communicate results to Exco, Committees, Shareholders, Boards and External partiesManage the budget process including CAPEX in line with group processes and guidelinesProvide actionable, relevant and time sensitive insight and information to business leaders to enable key business and strategic decisionsProvide Finance leadership on Process Efficiency, Business Performance Measures and Management, Analytical Support and Predictive AnalysisIntegrate internal business information with market events and industry knowledge to identify new opportunities and formulate strategyIntegrate and contract with the Central Finance and Finance Operations areas to ensure delivery to the business units within terms of agreed SLA'sReport on the overall business risk assessment and management process of the organisation, adequately assess and document risks faced by the organisationFinancial systems designed, implemented and maintained – master data managementResponsible for the management of Hollard's Tax Risk and relationship with SARSResponsible for integrated planning processPrimary relationship with Groups Auditors, and management of group audit processes and annual financial statements for the entities in the group.Management and oversight of all entity and license related matters, including but not limited to liquidity, solvency, covenants and statutory reporting.Liaison with shareholders on all finance related matters.Member of Finance ExcoManage and oversee group wide Finance and Tax projects and strategic initiatives.
