Join us to apply for the Guest Services Rep Part Time role at Extended Stay AmericaGet AI-powered advice on this job and access more exclusive features.Position Purpose and SummaryThe Guest Services Representative ("GSR") is dedicated to providing the best possible experience for our guests.Responsibilities include assisting guests, answering phones, checking guests in and out, and collecting payments according to company guidelines.The GSR also completes daily front office paperwork and ensures safety and security procedures are followed for all associates and guests.Major / Key Job DutiesDemonstrate a strong commitment to providing excellent guest experiences.Assist and respond to guest requests diligently.Resolve guest issues through the Make it Right process, embracing ESA's service culture with respect and kindness.Process reservations, registration, payments, and departures per guidelines.Handle collection efforts for in-house balances and maintain cash, credit, and ledger accounts.Set up, maintain, and take down breakfast displays timely.Maintain an organized, clean work environment at the front desk and guest areas.Promote ESA to inquiries and convert them into reservations and occupied rooms.Gather guest information, probe for sales leads, and identify sales opportunities.Conduct periodic property tours to meet brand standards.Provide accommodations in response to guest requests when practical.Adhere to all company policies, including key control and safety/security reporting.Other DutiesMaintain overall hotel cleanliness, assisting with cleaning and upkeep of various areas.Engage in cross-training in housekeeping and laundry to provide assistance as needed.Perform other tasks as assigned by management.BenefitsWeekly PayCompetitive WagesGreat working environmentRecognition ProgramsVision InsuranceSavings PlanEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Employee Perks with discountsCompensationPay ranges vary by state, e.g., California: $16.50 - $23.00, Colorado: $16.00 - $19.00, etc., subject to applicable wage laws and experience.
