Group Export Executive – Fruit Industry – Cape Town

An established fresh produce marketing, farming and processing company is looking to grow its export business out of Sub Saharan Africa into global markets including UK, Europe, Middle East & Asia.
They are looking to take their export contribution from 10% to 30% in the group.
Senior executive positionReports to Group CEOLead Export team in both SA ,ZIM & UK.Formulate , develop and deliver export strategyManage Financial budgetManage procurement function, work with growers / farmers / managing growing programmes.Manager product category strategiesUnderstanding of logistics ( International / Air Freight and also going into Sea Freight)Ability to negotiate and work with retail buying teamsStrong commercial abilityStrategic thinkerAmbitiousSelf starterWillingness to travel in SA and InternationallyCompetitive salary .
