Group Accountant

Overview:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Group Accountant to do and oversee the financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes in the Holding companies and its relevant subsidiaries.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, as well as providing financial insights and analysis to support business decision-makingMinimum Requirements:Matric/Grade 12 Qualifications: BCom Accounting degree plus articles (CA.
SA advantageous)3+ years' experience in a similar roleStrong technical accounting skills, including IFRS and financial reportingExcellent communication, team player, independent, and analytical skillsProficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and financial accounting software Key Responsibilities:Financial Reporting: Prepare and review interim reports, and other financial reports for the GroupBudgeting and Forecasting: Prepare the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting process for the operational companies, as requiredFinancial Analysis: Provide financial insights and analysis to support business decision-makingAccounting Standards: Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirementsAudits: Part-take in the co-ordination of annual audit process for the GroupPrepare annual financial statements for independent review companiesFinancial Planning: Develop and implement financial plans to achieve business objectives of operational subsidiariesTeam Management: Manage and develop gaming bookkeeper to ensure effective financial reporting and analysis
