Storybook Stars is a young and dynamic company specializing in personalised children’s storybooks and complimentary products. We are expanding our team and have an opportunity for a creative, vibrant, and enthusiastic individual to join us.

Skills

- Adobe Creative Cloud (Specifically Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
- Preference will be given to individuals with an arts, graphic design, or creative background
- Be able to work with minimum supervision.
- Attention to detail.
- Intermediate computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
- Good people skills with customer service mindset
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans (speaking, reading, and writing)
- Basic office administration skills

Responsibilities

- Graphic design work of book illustrations
- Advertisement design and social media content creation
- Book layouts, existing and new books
- Execution of social media plan, posting according to plan to social media platforms.
- Research new suppliers, story ideas, illustration ideas
- Liaison between company and printers / suppliers
- Booking couriers for customer deliveries
- General customer service
- General filing and office administration
- Working hours 09:00 – 14:00 (Mon – Fri)

Requirements

- Minimum level of education: Diploma /Bachelor's/ N6
- Minimum 1 year experience
- Own transport and driver’s license

Work Remotely: Can be negotiated
