Graphic Designer

An events company have an exciting job opportunity for a Graphic Designer to join their team in the north of Johannesburg. They are looking for a reliable and innovative in-house graphic designer to create, produce, and maintain various forms of marketing for the company and products. Your key job responsibilities as the Graphic Designer in Johannesburg will include:

Update and maintain company websites
Design collateral material including product packaging, logos, flyers, post cards, social media
Contribute to digital and print materials through content, newsletters, emails, etc.
Illustrate marketing concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts (working with production requirements)
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Requirements for this Graphic Designer job in Johannesburg:

Design qualification essential
Must be creative in design and ideas
Comfortable in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
Must possess the following skills: graphic design & layouts, web graphic design and HTML language knowledge, web user interface design, and multimedia content development
Detail & deadline-oriented, and have excellent communication skills
Need to be creative but able to take direction
Able to work well on multiple projects,
Maintain technical knowledge by taking part in design workshops; reviewing professional publications; participating in professional societies
