Job Description: As the Global Finance Transformation Manager - in Logistics, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the finance transformation initiatives within the logistics division of our company. You will work closely with the finance and logistics teams to identify key areas for improvement, develop and implement strategic plans, and drive organizational change to achieve financial objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement a comprehensive finance transformation strategy for the logistics division, aligning with the overall company goals and objectives - Lead cross-functional teams in the design and implementation of new processes, systems, and tools to streamline financial operations and improve efficiency - Analyze financial data and performance metrics to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment throughout the transformation process - Monitor progress, track key performance indicators, and report on the status of finance transformation initiatives to senior management - Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to ensure successful implementation and adoption of new practices Qualifications and Skills: Two years freight forwarding industry preferable. CA (SA) or bachelors degree in accounting or finance with 5 years accounting experience in a similar transformation and compliance role. Advance Excel skills Ability to become Wisetech C1 certified (CCC) once hired. Prior experience in C1 advantageous Able to speak, write and read English. Able to prepare manuals and instructions in English. Training experience on an ERP system is desirable Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices Proficiency in accounting software Commitment to accuracy, integrity, and professionalism Capability of travelling outside of Country when needed. Understanding operational matters to support but also suggest better ways of working.
