Main Role:

Our clients' ?Cape Town office is looking for a dynamic ?leader to take on the role of leading the growth of a new and exciting office! If you have a proven record of delivering cutting edge products to the market in a massively competitive space, recruiting the best and brightest as well as building multiple hyper-performance development teams then this ?senior management role is for you!
The Technical Output:

Strategic Direction:

To guide the management team to determine the strategic and operational deliverables of the business.

To ensure the objectives are met in each business area.

Organisation Management:

Provide leadership and vision to the organisation by implementing the development of annual plans through Game Plan, evaluate and report on progress of plans as required.

Build and maintain an effective management team (Performance contracts; Game Plan implementation, and effective performance and reward management)

Direct the activities and productivity of entire organisation through regular communication and feedback meetings.

Provide guidance to managers and staff members as required.

Liaise with Management Team to ensure product delivery as per agreed delivery dates and quality requirements.

Oversee the operations of the company through active monitoring of roadmaps for the products and their commitments

Signing documents, agreements, contracts as required and in consultation with relevant stakeholders.

Grow managers within the teams that can manage the recruitment, selection, hiring, coaching, and disciplining and performance management of people.

Grow Team Leads to do effective coaching (feedback, motivation, stress level management etc.)

Building the company image & Brand within the region by collaborating with clients, Departments & Executive stakeholders

HR Management:

Ensure effective recruitment, selection, hiring, coaching, disciplining, and performance managing people in order to meet agreed target and metrics.

Advise managers on organisational policy matters and recommend appropriate changes.

Provide people with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, remuneration, opportunities for promotion and employee benefits.

Plan, direct, supervise, and coordinate work activities to employment, compensation, and employee relations whilst meeting legal and legislative requirements.

Prepare workforce planning forecast to project employment needs.

Ensure effective adoption and utilisation of Talent Tree so that effective reports and dashboard information can be obtained by the business.

Financial Management:

Manage day to day financial operations to meet agreed budget.

Prepare financial reports that clearly explain operational effectiveness, trends and variances.

Ensure effective salary management by using agreed salary benchmarking levels.

Prepare annual budget, statements and reports as required.

Achievement of Metrics:

Ensure all metrics are achieved as per agreed strategic objectives in all the business areas.

Ensure awareness of all our Client metrics and deliverables.

Client Relations:

Ensuring all escalation issues are handled effectively within agreed Service Level Agreements.

Build strong relationships with the various stakeholders as required.

Understand the various stakeholders’ business objectives to ensure synergy and achievement of common goals.

Manage Team:

Manage management team to ensure delivery in their areas as per agreed commitments and Game Plan objectives.

Conduct performance reviews at least every 6 months for the management team.

Ensure that you have mentored at least one person this year and provide evidence that mentorship has taken place within your department.

Implement the key man reliance implementation plan and report progress on a bi annual basis.

Provide evidence that members on your team have received the appropriate training and development
