You will have line of sight to all the organizational activities of the businesses and will support operational leadership in a variety of departments – distribution, digital, data transmission and general operations.
You will be responsible for overseeing negotiations, budgeting, and planning across all distribution. You will develop long-term operational strategies and work closely with senior management to meet company objectives.
You will need to understand our offering and see to it that projects are completed on time and on budget.

Objectives of this Role
Collaborate with executive-level management in the development of performance goals and long-term operational plans

Maximize efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration with focus on maximizing profits.
Set strategic goals for operational efficiency and increased productivity
Work with heads of business units in the development of financial and strategic plans – this is a key metric that we want the person to drive.
Analyze current operational processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement when necessary
Maintain constant communication with management, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the organization
Grow the efficiency of existing organizational processes and procedures to enhance and sustain the organization’s internal capacity
Actively pursue strategic and operational objectives
Ensure operational activities remain on time and within a defined budget
Oversee accounts payable

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes that provide visibility into goals, progress, and obstacles for our key initiatives
Build and maintain relationships with all department heads, external partners, and suppliers to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic goals
Plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for the day-to-day performance of the operations to ensure profitability, as well as efficient and timely completion of tasks
Devise strategies to ensure growth, identifying and implementing process improvements that will maximize output and minimize costs
Uphold organization policies and standards, ensuring legislative regulations are followed
Work closely with human resources to lead team with integrity and establish and maintain a trusting, inclusive, and productive environment
Report to CEO monthly with clear plans and business performance
Lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including setup and implementation of career development plans for all direct reports and problem resolution

• Manage timely data collection to update operations metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce costs, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service
• Partner with cross-functional support teams in improving the proprietary tools and systems

Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
10+ years senior leadership role in the appropriate field
Superior knowledge of multiple operational functions and principles, including finance, customer service, production, and employee management
Proven ability to plan and manage operational process for maximum efficiency and productivity
Strong focus on managing the numbers of the departments assigned
Ability to streamline and implement new structures and roles that create speed, efficiency, and support rapidly shifting business demands
Strong working knowledge of industry regulations and legislative guidelines
Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control of operations and customer service
Well trained in conflict management and business negotiation processes
Knowledge of general business software and aptitude to learn new applications; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with budget and business plan development
Proven ability to develop innovative solutions for increased productivity
Superior negotiation skills in both internal and external settings
Masterful organizational, communication, and leadership skills, demonstrated by previous professional success
Strong working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics
