Cheshire Salary £35,000 depending on experience We are working with a highly successful and growing well established multi million pound turnover furniture wholesale group who own their own international factories.

They provide major UK retailers and independents of quality globally sourced furniture which includes well known brand names.

They also supply bespoke furniture solutions.

Working with their retail partners they provide a range of services including design, range selection, overseas, sourcing and supply and import management.

You will work hand in hand with the Product Development/buying team to aid in overseeing products from initial conception through to the release of the product, all according to technical and quality processes.

The Furniture Product Technologist candidate will: · Be able to cope with diverse workload and will need to work at pace · Be self-motivating, confident, and presentable · Have previous experience working as a Furniture Product Technologist in a Retail or manufacturing environment.

· Have a sound knowledge of Furniture and Upholstery · Reporting into the Technical Quality Director you will receive fantastic training and the opportunity of excellent career progression · You will at Technologist level and have attended meetings with clients at their headoffice confident in meeting with Buyers and Retail technologists · Used to travelling in the UK and Internationally as required.

· Ideally you will have a degree in industrial design, furniture product design or have experience in the role.

· Experience can be from 2 years to 5 years plus and salary will be depending on your experience in furniture.
