This position requires a dynamic, organized, energetic peoples’ person to phone, email and visit potential donors, write proposals, letters of appeal and plan fundraising events in all our homes, the greater community and internationally
A matric or equivalent qualification
Tertiary education in fundraising, marketing, public relations or another relevant field would be an advantage.
5 years’ minimum employment experience within the fundraising, PR or marketing environment, with traceable references.
Excellent communication skill – verbal & written.
Must be passionate and willing to learn (including attending relevant training course).
Must work with integrity and take responsibility for their work.
Behave in an ethical and professional manner at all times.
Computer literate with knowledge of Email, Word, Excel, Internet and PowerPoint
Be able to utilize social media platforms.
Proven networking skills.
A valid driver’s license.
